Yaru Huklo Tour

During this short tour, you will discover the gorgeous valley of Ziro and immerse in the Apatani culture. Ziro is one of the most beautiful places of Northeast India, hidden between the Himalayas and the Arunal Pradesh, the valley offers mesmerising landscapes. It is also famous because this is the place where lives the Apatani Tribe, well known for the fish-cum-rice culture that they developed in the Valley.

Itinerary:

 

Day 1: Dibrugarh.

Arrive at Dibrugarh Airport and drive to the hotel. Evening is free at leisure to explore the market area or go for a walk along the banks of the Brahmaputra River.

 

Day 2: Dibrugarh – Ziro

After an early breakfast, leave for Ziro (6-8 hours). On the way, you will have to cross the mighty Brahmaputra River is a wonderful ferry ride. Overnight at a guesthouse.

 

Day 3: Ziro surroundings

 The full day will be dedicated to the exploration of the points of interest in and around Ziro. Visit some Apatani villages and admire their farmlands. Visit view point to immerse in the spectacular landscape of the valley. Visit the high altitude fish rearing centre at Tarin. Overnight in home stay /guesthouse.

 

Day 4: Ziro - Dibrugarh

After an early breakfast, drive back to Dibrugarh (6-8 hours). Evening is free. Overnight in a comfortable hotel.

 

Day 5: Dibrugarh

Drive to airport/railway station for a return journey home. Tour ends.
