The Himalayan Yoga Trekking

There is no need to be super-fit for this trek as it focuses more on social interaction, teamwork and yoga. Although, you will enjoy the trip more if you are in good shape. There is a fair bit of trekking along the mountainous paths that are rather rocky and sometimes steep. This journey is for physical, mental and spiritual harmony, so expect to spend days walking around the village trails with plenty of time to stop and chat, have tea, meet local people, and taking pictures. The food will be plenty and with local produce!

We specialize in organizing tours in Nepal, which are unique and off the beaten touristic track!

Day 1: Welcome to Nepal

Arrival at Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu (1340 meters), a warm welcome by our representative and transfer to hotel. Time to visit DurbarSquare.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Visit the amazing Stupa of Boudhanath, the most important Buddhist cultural center in Kathmandu, as many Tibetan refugees stopped at this resort, creating more than 50 Gompa (Tibetan monasteries). Since 1979, Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 & 4: Lukla-Puiyan -Bumbria- 4 hours a day

On the third day leave Kathmandu early in the morning and take the famous mountain flight to Lukla - the gateway to Everest. We hope you will be able to see Mt Everest from the window of the plane before landing at Lukla.

From this point go down to the village of Puiyan where you will stop before walking through the base camp of Bumburi and Bupsa. Follow a quiet path where you will be constantly amazed by the beauty of Nepalese landscapes and Himalayan mountains.

Take the time to memorize the extraordinary beauty of places, colors, smells, people and panoramic views of these regions where the Sherpa live in harmony with nature.

From day 5 to day 9: Bumburi - Bupsa – Khari Khola

The next five days will be spent in the villages of Bupsa (2300 m), Bumburi (2245 m) and Khari Khola (2220 m) with various cultural interactions. The time spent in the area will be in a relaxed and free manner, according to your wishes.

The peaceful and enticing atmosphere of Himalayan landscapes will be the essential component for the meditation and yoga classes. In the villages you will have the opportunity to meet the Lama in their monasteries, open your soul to the teaching of their way of life, to their vision of the world and to every aspect of their community.

After this introduction of Hindu-Buddhist culture, diving into the daily life of the village, discovering and knowing their stories and their habits is going to be really interesting.

Return to the village of Bupsa in the evening, relaxing around a typical dinner cooked and served by a Sherpa family and enjoy their cheerful company.

As you stay in a lodge in Bupsa or in the surrounding villages, you will be welcomed into the homes and actively participate in the daily activities of the inhabitants. Everyone will be happy to meet you and invite you to their homes.

Day 10: Nuntala- 4 hours

Today, you leave the villages and start our trek south towards the Phaplu village for three days on foot.

Turn back to the main Everest trail, which is rarely used today since most people fly to Lukla, but now there is a road that reaches Phaplu, so it is likely that you meet other trekkers.

After reaching the main city of Khari Khola at 2200m, the trek then passes through the village of the Rai Jubing ethnicity at 1680m passing many fields of barley, wheat and corn. The path goes even further as you walk through terraced fields and stone houses, before a steep descent through the forests overlooking the river.

From the river Dudh Koshi (river of milk) at 1480m, cross the 109m suspended bridge, stunning and safe, adorned with Buddhist prayer banners. Head to the village of Nuntala (2320m) where you spend the afternoon and evening.
